Cultural Advice Committee – 2026 Call for Nominations

Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation (WAC) is inviting eligible Whadjuk members to nominate for election to the Cultural Advice Committee (CAC) at the Corporation’s 2026 Annual General Meeting.

The Cultural Advice Committee provides Cultural Advice to the Corporation in accordance with WAC’s Rule Book, Cultural Advice Policy and applicable cultural governance arrangements.

WAC encourages members with strong cultural knowledge, connection to Whadjuk Country and a commitment to contributing to the cultural governance of the Corporation to consider nominating.

The election will be conducted in conjunction with the Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation Annual General Meeting pending an ORIC decision for extension for Saturday, 5th December 2026.

The nomination period will close at 5:00pm (AWST) on the 5th of October 2026.

All nominations must be submitted using the approved nomination form and will be assessed in accordance with the eligibility requirements and election process applying to the 2026 CAC election.

How to submit your nomination

Completed nomination forms and supporting statements must be received by WAC before the nomination closing date.
