Expression of Interest: Fremantle Ports Ranger Training opportunity

Fremantle Ports are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Noongar ranger or student to participate in the Fremantle Port 2024 Marine Quality Monitoring Program.

Fremantle Ports is seeking a Noongar ranger or student to assist in their annual marine quality operations across the Inner Harbour operations in Fremantle and Outer Harbour operations in Kwinana.

The monitoring will be undertaken on board a scientific vessel in late January and/or early February. The role includes water quality sampling (two days), and mussel deployment (one day).

Prior to undertaking field operations, the successful candidate is also required to attend the Fremantle Ports office to complete one day of Marine Monitoring Verification of Competency Training, and one day of Fremantle Ports Operational Induction and MISC Escort Application.

This is a paid opportunity, in partnership with the Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation.
