Noongar man Noel Morich appointed as interim CEO
The Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation welcomes the appointment of Noel Morich as its interim chief executive officer.
A recent chair of the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council, Noel has spent his career assisting many Aboriginal Corporations.
Noel is a Noongar man with a degree in Accounting and Business Law, extensive management experience in the public sector, and he managed several Aboriginal businesses in the Northern Territory, Cairns, Canberra, and Western Australia. Mr Morich also served as an Australian diplomat in Africa and was responsible for consular, administrative and AusAID programs in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Angola.
Noel will fill the chief executive role until the completion of a recruitment process.

Noel Morich, new chief executive said “I’m ready to get to work, and I’m so proud to represent Whadjuk Noongar people. My focus is to build positive outcomes for the community, and the Noongar Nation.”
