Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation (WAC) is proud to announce the appointment of Krista Dunstan as an Expert Director, further strengthening the governance, leadership, and strategic direction of the Corporation.
Krista is a proud Noongar woman from Esperance who brings an impressive breadth of experience and academic achievement to WAC. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of International Relations, a Master of International Law, and an MBA with Distinction from the University of Western Australia (UWA). She is also currently completing an Executive Certificate in Public Policy at Harvard University.
With over 15 years of leadership experience across government, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors, Krista has successfully navigated complex social, political, and regulatory environments. Her expertise in strategic development, stakeholder and cross-cultural engagement, leadership, workforce development, and risk and issues management will be invaluable as WAC continues to grow and deliver on its mission.
Krista is GAICD qualified and board-experienced and currently serves as Chair of Blak & Bright. Her commitment to leadership that drives meaningful and sustainable change aligns strongly with WAC’s vision for empowering the Whadjuk community.
