We are pleased to announce that Victoria Huntley has joined Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation as our new Environmental and Heritage Coordinator.
Victoria holds an Honours degree in Archaeology from the University of Western Australia, and she has spent the last three years working in close collaboration with Traditional Owners across Western Australia. Her experience includes Aboriginal Cultural Heritage surveys, salvage operations, and monitoring – which reflects her commitment to the protection and management of heritage values on Country.
In addition to her archaeological expertise, Victoria brings a multidisciplinary background in film and television, writing, and philosophy. These skills enhance her capacity to engage meaningfully with community, stakeholders, and government in interpreting and communicating the cultural significance of sites, stories, and places.
Victoria is dedicated to preserving Whadjuk Boodja and supporting the empowerment of Whadjuk people through respectful, informed heritage practices.
